Health & Safety

IMS are accredited by CHAS and SafeContractor both of which are registered members of Safety Schemes In Procurement SSIP. These schemes provide health and safety audit services for contractors who want to reassure their clients that health and safety is being handled correctly and sufficiently on their sites. One of the main benefits of IMS obtaining these accreditations is to allow companies to avoid undergoing costly and time-consuming assessments for every contract.

Each IMS contract is individually assessed and evaluated by our site managers for health and safety prior to any work commencing.

IMS provide the following documentation prior to any project; all works are thoroughly researched and all active technicians review and collaborate in the formation of the following:

  • Risk Assessment
  • Method Statement
  • Tool Box Talk
  • Rescue Plan
  • COSHH Assessment
  • Health & Safety Policy
  • Environmental Policy

Alongside our health, safety & quality measures we ensure all of our site teams are qualified to the highest industry level. All IMS Site Operatives and Managers are qualified CCNSG and/or CSCS card holders. All high level works are conducted by IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Association) & IPAF (International Powered Access Federation) trained personnel.
